Matt Oess is the founder and CEO of Revenue Growth Agent. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and has spent more than 20 years leading B2B sales transformations, including roles connected to Cisco, Infor, and GE Digital. For 14 years, as a partner at TechCXO, he has worked as a fractional CRO, seeing and solving these exact sales problems for client teams every day. That hands-on experience, and the best practices he has honed across hundreds of engagements, is what RGA is built on, and it is why RGA outperforms generic tools and off-the-shelf LLMs. He founded RGA to put those practices to work for every rep, on every deal. Revenue Growth Agent was founded with one question in mind: Can AI solve the "unsolvable" problems that have plagued B2B sales teams for decades?

Matt, our founder-Yale MBA and current TechCXO partner- spent 20+ years transforming sales teams—from startups to enterprises like Cisco, Infor, and GE Digital. Across B2B industries, he witnessed the same destructive pattern: When pipelines weakened and traditional tactics led to prospect fatigue, organizations doubled down on approaches that actually made the problem worse.

The issue became impossible to ignore: We knew that personalization and relevance were key, but even the most talented sellers and companies were trapped by time constraints. With open rates plummeting and generic automation flooding inboxes, B2B sales and marketing teams faced an impossible choice—volume over value, generic outreach over genuine connection. Brilliant sales teams were failing—not from lack of effort, but from systemic limitations that seemed impossible to overcome.

The market was flooded with sales tools that simply automated these broken processes faster: proposals full of boilerplate, memorized scripts, and obviously automated generic emails. The market needed a platform that could deliver what was previously impossible: Dream Team-level personalization and insight for every single prospect interaction, at scale.

How We Trained Buyers to Avoid Us

Companies knew personalized outreach worked, but were forced to choose volume over value. The economics seemed impossible: meaningful preparation took hours per prospect, but sales teams needed to reach thousands of prospects.
