Frequently Asked Questions

What Salesforce editions are supported?

The RGA Canvas App works with Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer editions of Salesforce. It's compatible with both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Do I need to install anything in Salesforce?

Yes, but it's simple. We'll guide you through creating a Connected App in Salesforce (takes about 15 minutes) and adding the Canvas App to your Contact, Lead, Account, and Opportunity page layouts. No Apex code or managed packages required.

Will this slow down my Salesforce org?

No. The Canvas App runs in an iframe and doesn't consume Salesforce API limits or governor limits. Performance is independent of your Salesforce org's resources. Target load time is under 2 seconds.

How is data synced between RGA and Salesforce?

Data flows both ways: (1) Salesforce data automatically populates RGA forms when you launch Meeting Prepper or Discovery; (2) RGA outputs (meeting prep docs, discovery insights, proposals) are automatically written back to custom fields in Salesforce using the Salesforce REST API.

What permissions do my users need in Salesforce?

Users need "View All" or "Modify All" permissions on Contact, Lead, Account, and Opportunity objects (depending on which records they'll access). They also need access to the RGA custom fields. Your Salesforce admin can configure this via Permission Sets or Profiles.

Is my Salesforce data secure?

Yes. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We authenticate using Salesforce Signed Requests and OAuth 2.0. Your data is processed in SOC 2 compliant infrastructure and never used to train AI models. We follow Salesforce security best practices.

When will the integration be generally available?

We're targeting January 2025 for general availability after the beta program concludes. Beta participants will get priority access and grandfathered pricing.

Do I need a separate RGA account?

Yes. You'll need an active Revenue Growth Agent subscription. The Salesforce integration is an add-on that connects your RGA account to your Salesforce org. If you're not yet an RGA customer, we'll help you get set up as part of the beta onboarding.
